The purpose of this training is to acquaint providers with changes occurring in the Multipurpose Senior Services Program (MSSP) Code Conversion. Effective January 1, 2024, the Department of Healthcare Services (DHCS) will transition from legacy codes to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) codes along with required revenue codes and modifiers. This training will discuss code changes to MSSP, introduce the use of modifiers and revenue codes, and provide a walkthrough of a claim.
